Decades of war have devastated families and left the millions of Afghan orphans and widows without financial support for medical care, education and even the most basic needs: Food, fresh water and shelter.
Women are not allowed to work which leads them and their children to begging on the streets as a means to find food and clothing.Countless children are roaming the country without either the proper type of shoes or any shoes at all which leaves them with more medical issues for themselves.
At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done.
We will be judged by “I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in.
